HOW IT STARTED: OMG! MY $4800 LUXURY HANDBAG JUST BROKE AFTER 3 TIME USES!!!

 

My name is Kate T. Ye. i am the founder and the designer of MooshiLeather. The company was established in Sydney-the capital city of the state of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia.
At the end of 2021, I bought a $4800 worldwide known Luxury Designer handbag, and the stitches of that bag fell apart after my third time uses! I was very upset about it and started to looking into its material and making process, I found most luxury bags seems to be unreasonably overpriced. I knew I had to create it myself - a high quality, unique bag that would suit my aspirations and requirements. 
I bought the finest materials, sought out help from skilful leather craftsman in Osaka Japan who later on became my manufactory partner, Mr. T, and within 3 months, i was holding a meticulously crafted leather crossbody bag I could proudly carry myself that had my own name engraved on it! I also designed the first laptop bag for my partner afterwards, we received lots of praise from quite a few friends. many of those admirers actually wanted to buy the bag for themselves and engrave it with something meaningful. I then feel that it would be missed opportunity if I didn't start a business. After 26 months of preparations, I finally established the company MooshiLeather in 2024, and our entrepreneurial journey began.

Everything i do and everything we make is deeply rooted in our belief that true class comes from premium quality and sustainable materials as well as excellent craftsmanship. My goal is to add class and inspiration to people's lives through premium leather accessories in every situations. 

How are MooshiLeather bags made?

All MooshiLeather goods are designed in my study room after consulting with different professionals.   With particular attention to details, I only design what i truly believe in - classy and timeless leather good that you can easily and confidently incorporate in your everyday wardrobe. 

On top of being practical and fashionable, all MooshiLeather products also need to meet my expectation of having a unique and timeless appearance. Since I design the pieces to be used for years to come without going out of style, the level of craftsmanship and quality of materials need to follow suit. Additionally everything must be created sustainably.

I am confident ensure that you will only get the finest quality sustainable product from MooshiLeather company that has been and always will be support by my master leather craftsman Mr.T from making the materials to putting together the final pieces.

 

MooshiLeather only use premium quality materials from leather to hardware, lining to threads. 

 MooshiLeather products made by Italian CPPZA Special Certified First-layer vegetable-tanned original Cowhide with the most natural oil layer and texture. This line is crafted from minimally processed leather, left free from synthetic modifications or protective coatings, which may result in natural wear marks over time. However, it is precisely this raw, authentic quality and the rich oil content within the leather that allow these marks to soften and fade with continued use, giving the material a progressively richer, more polished look. As the leather matures, it will develop a deeper sheen and smoothness, enhancing its luxurious appeal. High-end genuine Suede Leather or top Quality Cotton Canvas are used as the lining material depending on different uses of products, which both of them feels thick and comfortable, and is truly highlights your extraordinary taste.

MooshiLeather uses Solid Brass hardware made of high-purity zinc-copper alloy, it has high hardness and is not easy to fade, and the electroplating texture is first-class or aluminium hardware depending on the product.

 

 

 

MooshiLeather is entirely self-funded by its founder Kate T. Ye. As a result, I am able to make independent decisions and prfioritize a quality long-term approach to my business. I pour all my resources, as well as heart and soul into developing truly outstanding and classy products in a sustainable way.
